The en was a digital-first media outlet that focused on things you could play — music, movies, games, and television — and also the devices that you could play those things on.

It launched as an outlet to cover Microsoft’s Zune music player in 2006 before expanding into other kinds of technology reviews and media coverage a few years later. It also expanded into podcasts with two shows: enConnected Live and ZuneSpring Live.

I ended production of The en in 2021 to focus on bringing what I’d learned in digital media to public radio. By that time the site had racked up 4 Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Awards for Zune and another 6 for Xbox.

paige aiden Media, today, hosts websites for small businesses and community members who need help getting online.
